London Markets

This, my first formal project, was inspired by my first visit to East Street Market in Camberwell and resulted in a contribution to the first book published in 2015 by the Urban London group of The Royal Photographic Society ‘Urbanicity’. (ISBN No.: 978-9044395-11-9).

Images from seven London markets were included; My local market of Surrey Street (Coydon), other South London markets of East Street (Camberwel) and Borough (Southwark) and the Noth London markets of Broadway (Hackney), and Portobello Road (Notting Hill). The images shown include some of the earliest digital photogrphs that I took in June, 2010, the latest image was taken in September, 2015.
